That's right! every second Saturday of the month from
1-4pm, the Museum of Glass hosts Family Day. You’ll find activities
for children and adults presented throughout the Museum. Explore the
concepts and themes behind the artwork in the galleries and Hot Shop
with hands-on art projects, catch a dance performance, or join the
interactive story circles. Each Family Day is a unique experience.

takes place the first Saturday of every month
from 1-5pm. Enjoy the many shops and galleries
in historic downtown Gig Harbor with special

Farmers Market
Although our farmers markets are not in session right now, get ready to relish some great produce at the Pierce County Farmers
Markets which open in April and run until November. During the
season more than 100 small farms from all over Pierce County
participate. As certified producers, our farmers sell only the
commodities that they have grown or raised. The range of products
available is astounding; from vine ripened fruits and vegetables, to
sweet honey, fresh oysters, trees, flowers, herbs, cheese and more.

The Pierce County Fair Association will celebrate the 65th annual
PIERCE COUNTY FAIR, August 9-12. Join us for our yearly
celebration of rural life, agriculture and good ol’ family values.
The PIERCE COUNTY FAIR is situated amongst the firs and green grass
of beautiful Frontier Park. Sit back and enjoy a wide selection of
tasty fair foods while viewing some of our many free entertainment
acts and attractions. The PIERCE COUNTY FAIR is the link to our
agricultural past and our fast paced modern life. Don’t miss the
